What visitors say

★★★★★

“We reserve a car via Booking.com and add extra insurance, at our arrival in the terminal building we find easy the office desk, we have printed the voucher and the insurance details. The staff very friendly, they check our reservation and provide us all the information needed and give us the keys of the car. All processes was less than 5 minutes. Good experience with this rental company and I'm sure I will use it again for the next holiday .”

“My experience was literally first class, and I can’t believe how many poor reviews this company has had. Having paid for a hire car with my EasyJet provided by Goldcar (a company I have found faultless on more than one occasion), I arrived at Alicante airport at 10:30 pm on a Saturday night and there were 30+ other people waiting to collect their vehicles. There “take a number” system tells me it is a busy operation. After half an hour I looked over at the queue for Firefly and there was only a few people there so I spoke to the girl who was extremely friendly and said she had cars available, so I decided to for sake wired already paid and took another car, which took less than 20 minutes from desk to me being on my way. She offered me a choice of vehicles which although completely expensive in comparison to the online booking I had a smart new blue Peugeot 2008 and I was on my way. This is a very competitive market I appreciate, but Firefly certainly did me proud.”

“Really easy processing in the terminal. Really clean and tidy car to take away. No issues during the 13 days we had it. Filled it up with petrol locally, then again when close to terminal. Could not have been fuller. Handed it back. Got home and day later £56 charge on my credit card with no communication or explanation of why!? How can they get away with it? The card they charged isn't one I use that regularly and because I was not emailed an invoice or anything at all it was lucky I checked it otherwise I would have incurred a missed payment. Absolute crooks. The company are owned by Hertz too, who are global. Really poor and won't use again.”

“I don't know why the rating is so low, but I had a pretty good experience with Firefly. We rented a Fiat 500 for 5 days with a 150€ deposit for insurance, the car was in excellent condition and safe to drive. The only small misunderstanding occurred in the communication regarding the return of the car. We could not check the necessary information because no one answered the phone. It was still a good experience for a good price.”
